This 1940 Chrysler Crown Imperial parade phaeton was an official New York City parade car, and was occasionally used by Presidents Eisenhower and Truman.
According to Chrysler records, a parade phaeton built by Durham on a Crown Imperial chassis was the only custom Imperial made in 1940.
