This car is a project. It does run and moves. The engine and transmission are good best I can tell. I drive it around once in a while, just don't have the time to complete the project. Clear title, licensed and insured. She has rust in the floor boards and trunk. Interior looks good but the foam is mostly gone. An accident in the past has been repaired on the right rear quarter, will need to be worked on again. Probably because of the accident, the tail lights and bumper have been replaced from a 66 Imperial. The rest of the body looks good. One small piece of trim missing on the lower front. Electric windows work slowly. AC works. The radio does not. Be happy to send pictures. Would consider a local trade for an older Dodge truck. Not really looking for another project though. $2200 or make an offer.

This is mostly a rolling shell that also steers. Most of the trim has been removed but a lot of it is still available too. It is a virtually rust free car (just a small area on the lower right quarter just behind the door is all I could find anywhere). Even the trunk floor looks good. The fender tag shows a special paint code (this car is a dark reddish plum color - elegant looking when it was new probably). It is also a Crown model. Has engine/trans that comes with it but assume the engine is locked after all these years. Many photos available. Seats are still in it and other items such as the dash too. Photos tell the whole story. Email me for more photos/information. $2500 obo

This car is located in Portland, Oregon USA. It is an original car, never restored. It's in amazing condition for its age. Cosmetically about what you would think with its original paint and interior. Mechanically it's very good.

I have prepared a detailed description and have many, large detailed photos so you can determine if this car is right for you. Just send me your e-mail address and I'll send all the information to you right away.

The car should sell for $12,000. If you like to dicker over the price, I'l start at $13,000 and you can offer less. Then I'll come down and you'll come up until we agree on $12,000. Whatever works for you.

1964 Imperial Crown convertible. Rare car, only 922 were built. Condition is a 3.5-4. Engine is a 314 wedge originally with 340HP. Still runs very strong. Car runs, shifts, brakes and steers excellent. Body straight, some rust. Paint is dull and scratched, don't believe it's original paint job. Chrome is worn but not terrible. Top looks nice but has a few tears. Top goes up and down. Issues: Windows stopped working, had an electrical shop check the driver window and said the window motors would need to be refurbished. That's why the door panel is off in the pictures. Parking brake sticks, the car is set up with pneumatic brake release when the car is put into Drive or Reverse, that hose leaks so when you're in drive, there is an air blowing sound.

The interior is original and will need to be redone. All the windows work and it has A/C although it does not blow cold air. Body is in overall good condition but there is one rust spot in passenger front door. The car is a pleasure to drive and always turns heads. I bought the car 3 years ago and it has always been stored in doors. I do not have the time to restore this car- too many other projects. Price is $5,500. Call Peter at 401-338-5278 with questions.

1958 Crown Southampton project car. Bought several years ago with intention of fixing it up but never happened, sitting in my barn under thick layer of dust now. Body is straight, glass is all intact, minor dent in front bumper, few rust spots but nothing major. Engine isn’t original and broken up due to being allowed to freeze sometime in the past. Have a 318 engine from early 60’s Imperial will throw in with car (still has Imperial stickers on valve covers). When I got it was guaranteed it turns over but don’t have a way to check that out myself. Appears to be in decent change, just needs someone who knows what they’re doing to work it over. Also have a variety of other miscellaneous parts I’ve bought over the years I’ll also throw in – brake drum, rocker panel, glove box door (don’t know why I bought that because one in the car is still fine), not sure what else. Prefer to sell all together. Can email pics to anyone genuinely interested.

1962 Imperial Coupe VIN: 9123133716 Beautifully restored car, from top to bottom. This could be a top notch show car winner with some TLC Prior to my owning the car: This car was restored as a frame off 100 point car. The previous owner had done a beautiful paint job ( very nice from 10 feet away but does have flaws) new wiring, had the engine rebuilt, some chrome appears to have been done, and a flawless SMS upholstery job on the interior. Fully loaded car with power windows, seats, steering, and AC. All electronics work when I hooked up the battery. Tires look nice but I'd suggest a replacement in the near future since they probably have flat spots from sitting. Apparently life intervened and things happen as they do and the previous owner could not complete the car. During my time of owning the car I reassembled the car as it was in pieces polished the paint and chrome, cleaned the interior, and planned to finish the show quality restoration but other cars have came into my life and its now time to pass it on the hopefully the person that will complete the job. I bought the car from Connecticut on a bill of sale. I was told by the state of Connecticut's DMV that on cars of this age do not have titles issued. I have a file over 2 inches thick of restoration receipts and the documents that prove previous legal ownership. Please email for pictures. This will make someone a beautiful awesome car.

I have had this car for 15 years, I can't keep it anymore. Buy it and drive it away, it will make it most anywhere. I drive it DAILY. Power windows, tilt/tele, RCA am/fm 8 track, ( no sound) power vents.power seat. Comes with lots of 8 tracks, operator's manual, spare parts. The good: replaced axle, rebuilt trans, timing chain, water pump, fan clutch, rebuilt thermoquad, brakes redone, new distributor, belts Coolant temperature sender,, wires plugs, good tires, dual exhaust, rebuilt steering box. Car rolled off assembly line 5/31/73 Transmission casing is original, dated 4/18/73. Carb is original, 6322s dated 5/22/17 Motor is not original, dated 6/10/76 Intake manifold is 1973 B-body Oil and water passages are clean. All fluids clean. Radiator recored in 2005, and top tank repaired a few years ago. Does not overheat. Starts right up. ECU and ballast resistor are good. Power windows work. Dash, door panels rear seat and carpet are good. Front and rear bumpers are nice. The bad: Headliner is bad, front carpet is replaced with a blue throw rug, and blue blankets are over the seats. Many dents and dings. Rear quarters are rusty, lots of bondo. Vinyl top was cut off and roof painted shadow blue. Looks like a vinyl top. Carb might need floats. Runs good but dumps fuel on low speed full throttle acceleration. Trying to get the car inspected. Sending brake booster out to be repaired. Bad passenger side motor mount. Pitman arm may be bad and makes noise. Also noise from rear torsion bar anchor. Air does not work but might with some r-12. Despite this, the car drives well on the highway and is safe to drive. I have had it up to about 105mph. For sale as a driver or as parts car. Best offer. The best part? I made a custom plate for the front, and the whitewalls came out nice at the car wash.

Up for sale is a 1961 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe with the original engine and drivetrain.  ENGINE:  starts right up with no hesitation and has a smooth idle. TRANSMISSION: The transmission is all original and still works just as good as it did back in 1961. All gears engage smoothly and shift fine. BRAKES: The brakes could use some servicing. The original accordion brake booster did NOT freeze as it still has play.  NEW WHITE WALL TIRES.  BODY: The body on this 61 beauty is really straight with no signs of bondo on any panels that I have examined. There is a small rust spot that is visible near the rear window, about the size of a quarter. The under carriage looks to be solid with no rust issues other than the exhaust pipe. INTERIOR: As you will be able to tell in the photos the interior is original with some cuts in the seats. every thing is in tact with no pieces missing. the stainless trim on the dash is in really good condition, the seats, carpet, door panels and headliner would need to be replaced.  This is a great candidate for a restorer or with just a few minor fix's it would make for a great cruiser.  either way you are looking at only 1 of 1007 ever produced. The 1961 is the only year that came with the large rear tail fins that has become so iconic in the early 60's cars that every one enjoys. Michael 310 918 8355

1960 Imperial Crown convertible built in late 1959. This car is in superb as-new condition. Regal Red exterior and pearl white leather interior. Traveled 1900 miles, following a thoroughly exhaustive, fully detailed, body-off-chassis, fastidiously performed 24 year restoration process beginning mid-1989 and completed in late 2013. Meticulous attention lavished on every detail to ensured no stone left un-turned to bring this car back to outstandingly better than new condition, while maintaining accuracy and authenticity.

The body has absolutely no rust whatsoever and is dent, blemish and imperfection free. All body panel gaps, fit and finish are perfect. The factory correct Regal Red multi-layered acrylic lacquer paint during the restoration process was meticulously applied and thoroughly hand rubbed between each coat resulting in a fastidious replication of colour application methods as used by the factory in 1960. The paint finish is flawless, mirror-like, glass smooth and looks a “mile deep”. This car has only been carefully hand cleaned using water-less cleaning systems with micro-fibre clothes and this vehicle has only been driven in good dry weather. The underneath of this vehicle is also in pristine condition, being just like the day it left the factory. Likewise, all mechanical components are in as new condition, having been thoroughly overhauled following exhaustive research to maintain authenticity.

This car has been thoroughly road tested, with all gaps in every adjoining body panel assembled, tested and retested with all components examined and re-examined for tightness, perfect alignment, pin-point accuracy and superlative fit and finish. Many highly skilled craftsmen and artisans labored on two continents located in Detroit Michigan USA who were highly experienced in making prototypes for General Motors Corp. and also by personnel who once fabricated prototypes and show cars for Chrysler Australia Ltd.

This is a highly optioned car with factory-correct and period-correct options such as integral air-conditioning, power vent windows, power windows, 6-way power seat, flite-sweep spare wheel embossed deck-lid, square steering wheel, tri-tone horns, power door locks, floor button controlled self seeking radio, auto-pilot (cruise-control), automatic (electric eye) dipping head lights, remote drivers’ side mirror, exhaust tip extensions, tissue dispenser, 4-way hazard lights, electric eye dimming rear view mirror, radio-telephone, 14-record 45-rpm automatic self-changing record player, automatic front door activated cable operated swivel seats, plus much, much more.

All exterior chrome and stainless trim pieces follow body contours precisely and with perfectly aligned even gaps through-out. Engine was blueprinted, balanced, boiled, X-rayed, magna-fluxed and totally rebuilt using new components to run on unleaded fuel.

Every effort was made to return this car back to as-new condition. Every nut, bolt, screw and washer was stripped clean, examined and refurbished to as, or better, than new condition. Great attention to detail was given to make this the “newest” 57 year old 1960 Imperial convertible in the world; it even has a new-car smell! This car comes from a smoke-free, pet-free and alcohol-free environment. This car has been stored in totally dry climate controlled conditions since, during and after its restoration and has to be the very best 1960 Imperial convertible offered for sale in many years.

Summer is just around the corner and this Imperial ready to journey to its next exciting adventure. I would be more than happy to send photos, answer any questions or queries, or provide further information. I more than welcome any independent inspection to examine or scrutinize this car. Left-hand-drive car located in Adelaide, Australia. I can arrange international transportation.

Car is located in York county Pennsylvania. 1966 Chrysler Imperial Crown 4 Door hard top. This car is a true survivor. She starts and runs fantastic. Mileage about 75,000 is totally original. Power seats on both front driver and passanger. -power windows all around. The car has very little surface level rust that can be expected of a car this vintage. The car looks as if it has been garaged its whole life, with no chassis rust to be found. Slight body rust on interior of trunk lid looks oyster-ish and is very surface level. This car has been a true pleasure to own, but it is time to move on. New items: Brand new Coker white wall tires, just installed last fall, they have less than 200 miles on them. New brake booster and front break lines. oil was recently changed. car needs nothing to get in and go. I would take this car across the country in a second. Clean Title, in hand FULL DISCLOSURE OF ANY ISSUES: The body of the car looks to be the original paint, with a few touched up spots on the front passenger quarter panel. there is some rust on the rear rear body panel just infront of the trunk lid, bottom of the rear window. All rust on this car is just at surface level and nothing is deep at all. For the purpose of full disclosure, the passenger rear-view mirror has come off, due the the screws backing out. the rubber gasket and mirror itself are in great condition and can be re-affixed with a little work. All fluids have been replaced and anything leaking is very hard to notice. I would say typical of a car this age. The engine has no knocking, no smoke, I have been using 93 octane since I purchased the car. The drivers side window motor must be put up and down by hand. The drivers door stop is not installed on the car, but I have the kit to go with the car. I have the original Factory Service manual that will go with the car along with all original marketing paperwork that came with the car from the last owner. I have all receipts for work performed in the last 3 years. -Please contact me directly with any other questions. 717-891-2722

Reply to: William Taccino at

This is a rare, possibly extinct vehicle. It may or may not be the last `true Italian-built 65 Imperial Ghia limo, but it may be the last one known to exist. It is similar to the one on the home page of the Imperial Club website, but this one is silver. It has the push-button transmission, the 413 engine and the 5th digit in the VIN is 1, which is the beginning of the sequential build numbers. According to the information on the Imperial Club website and Wikepedia, it is a true Italian-built 1965 Imperial Ghia limo. No one so far, including myself, can prove which one it is of the 10 Ghia limos built in Italy. The previous owner told me it belonged to Janet Dulles and she used it for her work at the Thailand Embassy in Washington D.C. from 1965-69. This owner, who bought it in 1970, said some of the Ghias were lost at sea when the boat they were traveling on from Italy to America sank. There are others on the Imperial Club website and Wikepedia who claim they have the last Italian-built 1965 Imperial Ghia limo. I say prove it. Let's finish the controversy. Theirs is a column shift and the 5th digit in the VIN is 2. Therefore, they are unable to prove that theirs is a true 1965 Italian-built Imperial Ghia limo. It appears to be a 1966 Spanish-built Ghia limo. My 1965 crown jewel was hidden for many years, but now, it is registered on the Imperial Club registry. This is not a fake or a scam; this car is complete. It runs and drives, but unfortunately, we are both disabled and unable to finish the body, electrical and interior work it needs for restoration, and since we are moving, we probably won't have a place to put it. We have several other low-production Imperials, a Chrysler and a Desoto, as well, that we have to move. According to the online Hagerty Insurance website, when I tried to obtain a quote for insurance, it showed a value inestimable, so we would sell the Ghia for the best offer over $1,000,000.00 USD or negotiate if the prospective buyer could find another one out there for sale that is a true Italian-built 1965 Imperial Ghia limo. This quality-built piece of history needs to be restored and put in a museum. We will provide additional information and photos upon request to the Imperial Club website or to prospective buyers. Mo scammers or time wasters, serious inquiries only. We will verify you are qualified to purchase this car. Any valid additional information on this vehicle would be greatly appreciated and your feedback is welcome.

Very rare factory tuxedo black with "russet" interior, fully loaded A/C with power vent window option. Its a very solid project car, good rockers and rear quarter panels, original motor/trans, front seat(wrong colour), ALL rare convertible specific parts included, missing front clip (which is the same as any 4 door parts car), i have correct rear axle and front suspension for it from a donor 4 door parts car. Car will roll and steer for buyer upon pickup. Correct factory "flitesweep" deck lid. Its a project well deserving a restoration. Door panels are rough but complete as well as dash. VIN tag in tact. Taking offers… lowball offers will be ignored. pics on request

I have an awesome 1968 Imperial Crown for sale. I purchased this car last year and my wife will not drive it. This car looks great and runs great. The 440 fires right up when cold but sometimes takes 15-20 seconds to start warmed up. It has factory front disc brakes and rear drum. Both front and rear are new along with the white wall tires. I am interested in trading for a 73 or 74 charger/Satellite. Thank you

All are decent cars that need lots of attention. Come look or call first. Deal of a lifetime to the Imperial hobbyist. Just too many cars and I am going to be 80 years old in November 2017. This is a 1963 Chrysler Crown Imperial 4-door Hardtop sedan. It is green. with a grey interior. The car is in excellent mechanical condition. I have driven it over 1000 miles in the past year on long/short trips with no problems. This is because I have invested in a number of new mechanical components in the vehicle. Namely: rebuilt 727 torque flight transmission/ brand new gas tank/ new battery/ alternator/ new tires/ rebuilt carb/ new electric choke/ new fuel filters/ plugs/ lines/ etc.. The only problem with the vehicle is that it needs a brake booster. I simply have not had the time to fix it and/or to continue the renovation. The car has under 86K original miles on it. The interior and paint are completely original. The paint is solid, but faded, and the interior is good shape, but tears in the seat fabric and some minor seam rips. The bottoms of the door panels have some surface rust as do the rocker panels. In general, there is rust along the bottom of the car (floor pan, surface rust in trunk, seam rust in trunk, etc...) The car needs definite cosmetic work..but does not have anything missing or any body damage. I have all of the hubcaps and chrome for the vehicle. The car can be used as a daily driver. Please call for info: 347-223-9191. Car is in Pittsburgh. I am asking $3K OBO.

1966 Chrysler Imperial

First year for the monster 440 V8 and the last year for the original Imperial platform. Original California car with no rust.

Restored about 10 years ago by our shop and all mechanicals were gone through. It was repainted at that time as well and the gorgeous white interior was completely redone. No problems with the car, we just need to thin the herd!

Pictures are in the link

1964 Chrysler Imperial. I have had it for about 8 months. I drove it two blocks from the previous owner's house to my house and it has been parked since. It needs to be tuned but otherwise runs and drives ok. It has a 413 with some aftermarket parts; Edelbroch intake, Holly carb, MDS distributor/ignition. The breaks need some sorting. The exterior and floors are solid and rust free from what I can tell. There is a small dent in the driver's rear quarter panel. The interior is in pretty good shape, no holes or tears. The carpet and the dash need a little love. OVERALL, IT's a PRETTY SOLID CAR!!! or text for pictures 210-621-4068 Clarksville, TN

I have 2 1991 Imperials. One is my daily driver, the other is a parts car. I also have about $1200 in new/ used parts that have been collected through the years. I am looking for $3000 for everything, however I would entertain the idea of a trade for some other type of car.(preferably a V8/ manual transmission.) These vehicles and parts are located in Hunt County Texas. If interested, please text me, and I'll get back with you as soon as I can. I can send pics through text or email. 903-217-2447 Paul

Here is a nearly complete 1968 Chrysler Imperial 4-door hardtop. The previous owner removed the 440 engine and trans, so they are no longer with the car. Very complete otherwise. The body is extremely solid throughout the car. I literally could not find any rust or soft spots in the body or trunk. Will need the driver's front fender repaired or replaced as you can see in the pics. The chrome and exterior trim are in very nice condition. Check out the interior - the original seats and carpet are still in fantastic shape. There were some mice in the car at some point. They did not appear to do any damage, but the car has some odor that will need to be dealt with.

This car would look great tricked out with an air bag suspension setup, or restored back to original stock condition. I have a clear Oregon title for the car.

If you have any questions I can be reached via text or call at 360-608-0093. Price is $1900. I will help coordinate shipping, but please do your own research to determine the cost. The nearest major city for transport purposes is Portland, Oregon.

Im Selling my 1962 Chrysler Crown Imperial that was handed down to me by my father a few years back. Its been a continued project since 2006 when he purchased it. We bought it in running working original condition with a few small issues here and there but a solid car until the engine began to have oil pressure issues. It was decided that an engine rebuild was necessary and work began. Part way into the machine work it was found that the original block was warped and needed a new one. Eventually we managed to get another 413ci block off of craigslist and machined it brand new and bored out the cylinders to become a 440ci. Eventually life happened and the block sat protected on an engine stand for a while until I decided to begin my own work in an attempt to revive the girl and have gotten very far in the project, however I don't have the means and funds to complete it. I won't lie the car needs some work, the engine is almost complete top to bottom, brand new edelbrock carb, trans is good with clean fluid, torque converter is clean, new starter. Interior is extremely clean besides small tear in the drivers side bench, and carpet is torn on the floor a bit. Body is completely solid, small dents in a couple places, is gonna need a paint job but is in remarkable condition considering. Floorpan is solid and almost zero rust everywhere on the car. Has power windows all four, power front seat, air conditioning, heat, radio, leather seats. Crown package. Needs a few things such as wheel bearings, alternator, plug wires, tires(but I have a used set that works) , battery, and some other small things but ill have to look at my list I made. She just needs some loving and I cant help her anymore. Pics will be up as soon as im home. Serious offers only, I know the value of this car and I know how rare it is too. No Lowballing, thanks.

Car is in good condition, original paint. Runs well although has two vices: 1. Rebuilt carb stumbles at WOT but runs great otherwise. 2. Valve seals hardened let oil in when car sits, so puff of white smoke on startup but otherwise no issue. This car is a survivor and is comfortable and complete. The paint is shiny and all of the trim is present and very good looking. The front end, if rebuilt, would be very rewarding - I say this because I have a 1972 that got this and the car seemed to shrink 2 feet handling-wise as a result. I help run this website and own 5 Imperials but it is time to be owning fewer, so this keeper that I've owned since 2000 as the third owner is now for sale. It has had the following redone: Starter Radiator Water Pump Thermostat Complete Brakes Transmission Alternator Regulator Power Steering Pump. The driver seat is used. Leather is pretty good but the cotton thread has failed in one or two places and wants to be re-sewn. The foam is just OK and, well, I'd take the driver seat cushions apart and re-stitch if I were really finicky. To be just right, I advise replacing belts and hoses (they are 16 years old), and the car's stock would go up if the engine got a ring and valve job that installed new valve seals in the process, but that is not required - I have done this with my other cars and planned to on this one but did not get to that project. I can do that for about $1500 with my own labor, instead of $5000 that a machine shop normally charges for a full rebuild. Call me to discuss.

I have 2 1967 Imperial crown 4 door cars. One is grey with a black top and black leather interior. Has been garage kept since new. I am second owner and have had it about 11 years. It runs, drives, has ice cold air but the brakes are leaky and would need work. I had them rebuilt several years ago and they do have a lifetime warranty on the parts. The paint is believed to be original but is very weathered and faded. I would like to get 10K for this car but would entertain reasonable offers. It is original down to the original spare tire in the trunk and all maintenance docs from new. The second one is a parts car mostly there, interior stripped of the seats and some other parts. It ran and moved under its own power but has not been started in at least 5 years. The brakes were non-working and the rear has some rust holes. I would be willing to part out this one for the right price. The 440 alone seems to be worth around 3K and is complete. I can provide pictures or more details by email request . I have lost my storage and need to move quickly. I hate to send the parts car to the scrap yard with any useable parts.

1966 Imperial Le Baron The car was my mom’s. She loved this car. The Imp, as Mom called it, has been sitting in a dusty garage in northern rural California since 1981. She purchased it at Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada, on April 16, 1966. My inspection of the car, what little I know, shows a car in very good condition. Some small paint dings are in the dark green color but there appears to be little or no rust. The black leather interior looks perfect. I think the miles are 128,000 and I’ll have to check that again to be sure. I do know that whenever anything needed fixing my Mom got right after it. The factory 1966 Imperial operating instruction book is with the car as well as the Dealer Report of Sale. It’s time to move on in my life and I sincerely hope someone who loves the Imperial would take this car and make it whole again. Let’s talk… email me at: Please put 66 Imperial on the subject line.

Two 1962 chrysler imperial convertible projects. Both white with red interior. One is a solid california car that is mostly dismantled. It does roll and steer easily. I have a clear title in my name. Second one is a rusty convertible with not title. It has its tags. Reduced price to $ 12, 000 for both. Super rare with good value if restored (NADA over 100K restored). Left rear quarter panel damaged. Only damage on car. ZERO RUST Car purchased from original owner in '76 (3600 miles) garaged since, never driven in snow. Runs would not recommend driving any distance with quarter panel damage. Color white, beige interior. All Window motors working last time battery installed. White cream color interior. Leather good, still has new car smell. Have seen all the scams, no endless emails, no endless pictures. First buyer to show up with cash will load car on trailer. Fix it or use it for parts car for "your" project. Asking $3300.00 New Rubber, Air needs serviced. Power everything, no 8 track. am/fm only Location Central Ohio.

Hello Car Enthusiasts! I am in need of some room and have to sell my 4 door 1962 Imperial LeBaron. Originally used as a bereavement car and was first owned by a funeral home in Pasadena. This little piece of history can be yours for $3500! It has a stock 413 Engine, new Cherry Bomb Glasspack Mufflers, 4 Barrel Carb, drum brakes, front and rear AC unit, original hubcaps, torpedo taillights, push button transmission, electric windows and electric front bench seat and a very large rear trunk. Comes with a car cover, owners manual and the carpet kit still in the box. I replaced the gas tank 8 years ago and at one point, I got all the windows to worked. The car runs well but is a fixer. It needs a new clutch pack for the rear end, interior, (I have a carpet kit for it, (Floor carpet, seats, doors and roof liner.) and a paint job. There is some minor rust near the rear wheel well. This car has been in Southern California for its whole life. Would need to be trailered. When the car did run, I drove it to car shows and errands in style. Its sat since 2012 when the Clutch pack went out. I haven't had the time or money to put into it as I have since purchased other projects. I have Crager Rims and tires (We put the original rims and hubcaps back on.) If you are interested. I also have original tail lights in excellent condition. The ones on the car are good shape but faded on the top. The car is located at my house in North Hollywood, CA and currently non-op. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you photos. kubo

Beautiful car that I inherited from my father, I'd like to see it go to a good home! It's a yellow 2 door, white leather, 440, a/c, no sunroof. It has exactly 100,000 miles. It has been in my barn under a car cover for a few years but I pulled it out recently and it started right up! Could use better gas and s time up. It has an older restoration that still looks great with only a 2 issues. Paint chopped away in silver dollar size spot revelling the original paint(same color) and a couple pen tip size bubbles just below the bottom of the roof liner on the driver's side. I've included a link to my craigs list post. Thank you for your interest and feel free to ask questions!

Original 413ci V8 4 barrel with 3 speed automatic push button transmission. Runs GREAT, super smooth, lots of power!!!! Drives very nice, Has factory AC, Rear defogger, Power Windows, Power seat, AM wonder bar radio and much more! Older restoration, was a leather seat car (can see the leather on the underside of rear seat) This is also a late 1959, it has 15" wheels with correct "gear" wheel covers. Metallic gold is the car's factory color. Recent repairs, 4 New Tires, all front 4 wheel cylinders replaced, front wheel bearings repacked, seals replaced. New Modern master cylinder and brake booster (still have original setup and no permanent modifications were made) car stops better and is much safer with the new dual chamber master cylinder.New belts and hoses, new brake hoses, new aftermarket air cleaner (still have original, motor needed more air). Full tune up and oil change. Odometer shows 19800 miles and does work, Please note I am NOT saying that is correct mileage, I am sure after 56 years it has turned over. Items the car still needs mechanically, park brake(have new parts) and rear shoes, drive shaft carrier bearing(have new part), AC compressor is locked up but AC system still under pressure. Needs new carpet. Body looks straight, some paint starting to bubble in a few lower sections, there is rust on the back corners inside the trunk but nothing major, except for that underside is very solid. Big head turner where ever I go, down the road or at car shows, massive amounts of factory chrome. Price, $7995 cash obo , does have a clear South Carolina title in my name. Will consider possible trades for other Mopars for example 1970-74 Chargers, 1979 Chrysler 300 etc Also convertible Caddys as well. I work from 7am to 3pm EST so please Call after 3pm to 9pm weekdays or weekends 8am to 9pm, text anytime 864-828-zero 1 1 zero.

I am selling my '78 New Yorker Brougham with the salon package. This car is in superior condition. It has the silver crystal metallic clear coat paint, elk-grain vinyl roof, leather wrapped steering wheel and the formal rear window (ala 74-75 Imperial) and those beautiful aluminum fascia wheel covers. This car has the red leather interior and only lacks an option or two of being fully equipped. Car runs well (400 V8), and everything works. Dual exhausts have been added and most emissions are gone. When I got the car, it was in good shape, but needed some TLC, (shocks, tune up, new headliner, etc.) All of that and more has been redone/replaced. The AC (new compressor) is remarkable, switched to 134-a and blows cold and fan motor is powerful! I have added a link to photo bucket pictures, but these links don't always work! I can send pics upon request. $15,000. Very few of these cars were made and only a handful remain in this kind of condition. I love the car and would love to have an excuse to keep it, so the price is pretty firm.

Over the last several years I have compiled a roster of 1956 Imperials. This roster now approaches 200. - these include VIN number and where able, information from data plates, colors, and if equipped with a/c. I would especially like to find the earliest and last of the 56 models produced. Much of this information has been obtained through contact with owners and their listings on eBay and Craigs List. Please contact me if you are willing to share information on your 56 Imperial with me at or 952-465-6361. I also have many parts for 55-56 Imperials available. Please call with needs.

No.1 runs and is optioned with factory a/c, cruise, power vent windows, etc. Originally white with tan/bronze interior. Missing seats. Minor rust in rear quarters only. Needs restoration. No.2 is missing engine/trans, but interior is complete and includes swivel seats. This car originally equipped with a/c, auto pilot, headlight dimming and more. No rust and what appears to be original green paint. Could be restored. No.3 is black with a gray swivel seat interior, complete car but body is rusty. Engine does not run (stuck). Probably a parts car. Nice optional spare tire decklid. No.4 is a special order burgandy color with gray interior. Much trim is missing, but optional spare tire decklid, original a/c car. Engine present but not mounted, and probably stuck. Body has no rust. Probably also a parts car due to dissassembly and lack of some trim parts. Email me at if interested.

1955 Chrysler Crown Imperial C70 Limousine | 20,863 miles

This 1955 Chrysler Crown Imperial C70 Limousine, VIN: C551108, is one of 120 ever built, it is extremely rare and valuable. It is completely stock. An unrestored sixty-year-old surviving 1955 Crown Imperial Limousine. Again, RARE!

This Limo has a 331 Cu/in Hemi V8 Engine with a Carter four-barrel carburetor producing 250 H/p. Has a Power-Flite Two Speed Automatic Transmission, Factory Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Window, Factory Heater,Town & Country AM Radio.

This Limo has been stored for over twenty years and is complete. The 331 Hemi V8 Engine is complete including all the original Air Condition parts. We have not been able to start the engine, I purchased this car in 1995. Regarding the Body sheet metal, other than the few rust spots in the trunk, a 5-inch wide by 10-inch long hole in the driver’s side floor pan and along both sides rocker panels (see photos). The body is totally solid with out rust and is in great shape with little to no dents. It is a great restoration car and would be a great investment. This limo is one of four that I own ( One is a limo parts car) that also must be sold. these cars are in high demand after restoration, ( that's why I have two Limo's in my collection, One is a Movie Car and the other is in my build shop. I need to sell this one because I don't feel I will get to this one any time soon.

Questions: Please call me about this Limo, I will discuss any reasonable offers for this car. My phone number is 650-280-1472.

1964 Imperial Crown. It's the oldest story in the world. Health and resulting lack of funds forces sale. I bought this complete 64 Crown about 3-4 years ago from Wildcat Auto Wrecking in Sandy, Or. It was a complete, running original car but rough and needed everything. Since then I have had the original 413 professionally rebuilt and balanced. I added Edlebrock intake and carburetor, digital ignition and big camshaft but kept all original parts. All peripherals were rebuilt including radiator, heater core, switch, water pump, power steering pump, plug wires, looms, etc. The car was fitted with custom dual exhaust and four mufflers. I added custom wheels and new shocks. The car runs great and drives and stops. Original 727 leaks and slips in reverse. Most windows don't work, of course but wings and pass rear do. Power seat works too. I had most of the gauges rebuilt but speedo is still dead. The body is solid but predictable rust is present. The interior is toast and most trim is beyond saving. Everything is there and all original parts have been saved. Of course I have well over $8,000 into it but am a realist. The engine was over 3K alone. P.O. painted the original maroon paint satin black. I'd like to see $4,000 but will consider reasonable offers. No Nigerian princes with money orders please. Pictures and video of running car upon request. Thanks. Happy Holidays, y'all.

My father in law was a major Imperial, and Chrysler, collector. He passed away 11 years ago and we are now trying to sell the remainder of his collection and numerous parts. The cars and parts are located in north eastern Nebraska and we are looking for someone to take the entire collection.

The collector cars we have available are: 1-1968 Imperial Crowne convertible 2-1967 Imperial Crowne convertibles 1-1965 Chrysler 300-L 1-1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 1-1959 Plymouth Suburban (unrestored) All of these cars have always been stored inside, were show cars, and are probably in 2 or 3 condition.

The parts that we have include Chrysler and Desoto parts from 1955 through 1968

1978 Chrysler New Yorker (1975 Imperial Le Baron inspired) I hope this ad is appropriate for this website. I have put my hands on this car and it is for real! The mileage is correct. It even has the factory tires from 1978 on it! Here is a link for the ad in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although I cannot reach an agreeable price to purchase, the owner is somewhat negotiable. I hope to help find it a good home.

OK, boys, I am jobless at the end of October. I am NOT desperate to sell the ragtop, but I am putting it up for sale for the time being. You guys have seen pics of my yellow '66 Imp. It is one of 514. Daffodil Yellow with black interior and white top. 440 auto. Very stock. Power windows and top. Power brakes and steering. Air conditioning. Heater. Seek/scan AM radio. Power antenna. It's actually a fairly low-optioned car! It is a wonderful driving convertible. This was built September 7, 1965; so it just turned fifty years old!

Only a couple of "problem" areas, and they aren't really problems, per se. The A/C is sealed, but it would need to be purged and charged, at a minimum, as it has never been converted from R12. I'm looking to have the unit serviced in before the end of the month. The heater core leaks and has been bypassed. I have not removed it to get it fixed yet. The dash has a crack in the middle. A new dashpad is available. I have other priorities going right now, so that will have to be taken care of by the new owner.

The car has new 235-75R15 Hankook whitewalls on stock Imperial steel wheels. All-new brakes and brake kits, along with the brake lines and wheel cylinders in the front. Changed all of the fluids and filters in the past couple of weeks. Recent lube on all points needing it. I have the FSM for the car, plus a couple of dealer goodies that I've found since buying the car a year ago May. This car drives like a dream! You're at 75 before you know it!

I have several small boxes of used and NOS parts for the car that came with it. I really hate to sell it, but impending joblessness says I should. I like a roof over my head, ya know!

$15,750. Located in Oklahoma City, OK. Tagged and titled in MY name. Shipping/pickup arrangements are purely the responsibility of the BUYER. PM me here for more details. Thanks! NOTE - REAL email address is: big block guy 1 (at) hotmail (dot) com...take the spaces and the at/dot words out. --- Patrick

Located in Fenton, Michigan. Engine is the 413 cu in (350 HP) with in dash Push Button controls and worked fine last time driven. Engine runs and starts quick, but just discovered fuel pump leak which needs to be replaced. Rear doors and trunk lid restored inside and outside and painted Moonstone Blue, the original color. Previous owner spray bombed remaining outside of car black. Some restoration work completed on underside of Hood. Body sheet metal generally solid and not thin like today's cars and is partially why the vehicle weighs 4700 pounds. All glass good except shallow wiper blade scratch on passenger side which I believe can be polished out. Interior needs work and push button window switches need fixing or replacement. Window motors were all functional. Front bumper looks good, but rear bumper needs work. Found original radio which was missing. Ran the engine about a month ago, but did not drive it. Not sure condition of brakes, but there is an extra set of shoes. At the age of 75 and now wintering in Florida, there is no time or energy to complete restoration. Below are 12 links to photos stored on Google Drive. Front View Grill Ornament Left Qtr View Trunk RR Door Outside Engine Compartment Under Hood Repair Name Plate RR Door Inside LR Door Inside Windshield Hood Latch Google: 1960 Imperial Moonstone Blue Germany, to see photos of what a completed restoration would look like except this car has original full chrome plated hubcaps. I have a 1993 Chrysler 3.8L V6 engine with about 106K miles on it for sale. The engine does not leak or smoke and runs really well. The car is in fair shape. Dings, scratches, rocker panels a little rusted out on two front doors and looks like the rust is starting on the bottom rear quarter panels. I drove it weekly back and forth to Peoria (about 500 mile round trip) for a year (2012) and it got around 26-28 mpg on the road and about 16 mpg in town. Rear tires are at about 70% tread and fronts are at about 30% (you could probably just swap the front and rear and be fine for another 20K miles. Transmission is very strong, never any problems with it. I have only driven it maybe a couple of times a month in the past 3 years. It has been parked outside for the past 7-8 years. Now for the good stuff. In the last 20K miles I have replaced: • new 5 year battery on 8/8/2015 • fuel pump • coil packs • cam sensor • crank sensor • transmission sensors • throttle position sensor • Engine Control Module • Body Control Module • ignition switch • rear axle • windshield • starter • water pump • muffler • O2 sensor Now the bad stuff: • needs a new headliner - it's completely detached and hanging down • front tires are at maybe 30% • dings and scratches • needs a new rear bumper • A/C leaks (only holds a charge for about a week) • sometimes the radio turns off for no reason • one of the back doors sometimes doesn't want to latch and you have to slam it a couple of times to get it to trip the latch • recently developed electrical problems and I think it needs a alternator. It does charge but only at higher speed. I was told that it is probably the voltage regulator on the alternator. Car comes with an extra engine control module, body control module, coil pack, (all used but still good) and a new exhaust crossover pipe (nothing wrong with the one on it but the pipe came with the new muffler and I just never had it put on). This is in drive-able condition and was plated through June 2015.

1878 lebarons were produced in 1965, everything is original, interior is in pretty good shape, body is straight, just needs a primer and paint job, all the chrome is attached to car still. Needs carburetor seal and brakes, it runs but has no brakes, gonna require tow, A/C toggles are broken. Other than that the car is in cherry condition and would be a nice car to add to any car collection.

Up for sale is a 1965 Chrysler Crown Imperial 4 Door Hardtop. This time capsule is just waking up from a 7 year dormancy as it was last on the road in 2007. The previous owner had purchased the car in 1995. It has spent most of its life in Maine. The car is equipped with the venerable 413 cu in (6.8 L) Wedgehead engine with a Carter 4bbl carb boasting 340 hp and is paired up with a TorqueFlite 3 speed automatic transmission. Wheelbase is at 129" with an overall length of 227.8 in. making this a true land yacht. Appearance is fair. The color is Mist Blue. There is some rust through on the passenger side of the car. Floors and the trunk are solid as a rock. Upholstery is a combination of both fabric and real leather. The leather is showing some dry cracking. The car runs and drives. It has a dual exhaust with a desirable throaty sound. Much work has been done over the years proving that the car has been lovingly cared for. There is a lot of receipts for work done on the car. The price is fairly set at $4700. To set an appointment to see the car please contact Glenn at 978-249-3804 before 7 pm.

Custom Southampton four-door, Alaskan White/Blue, with Crown options like wheel well and rocker moldings. I bought this car in 2012. It was purchased new in 1961 by a lady in Los Gatos California when she herself was 61. She owned and drove the car until her death in 1986. Her nephew bought it from the estate and owned it until 2012, when I bought it from him through a broker sight unseen. I thought it would be an easy car for simple paint and interior attention to use as a driver quality car. When I received it, I could see that it was much nicer than I thought, and far more original, so original and so nice it would diminish it's value to do anything but maintain. It has documentation going back to 1961, every tag receipt until 1986, showroom hang tag, original keys and owners manual, and so much more documentation, which I'm cataloguing. It is completely original throughout except for two panels, under the chrome spear on driver's side door and front fender, which have been painted, and a section between the trunk and rear bumper. The interior is completely original. 88 K miles. All windows, gauges, electroluminescent lights work. Gas gauge works but not completely accurate. Original spare in the trunk. Older wide whitewalls. Rebuilt front end, new brakes all around. Leaks nothing, dry as a bone, no rust anywhere, would qualify for preservation class. Paint shines beautifully, some natural flaws. I am prepping photos and will have them by next week. I have four collector cars and am selling three, keeping my '67 Imperial Crown Coupe. I'll use the proceeds for this car on the '67. I'm not a needy seller and $15K should be a fair price for such a nicely preserved car with such a complete history. Contact me at 205-337-1670, or please send an email to

Pondering the thought of selling my 61 Imperial. It was fun restoring it, now I'm bored. This is still the coolest car I have ever owned. Still just love to sit and look at it, but I think it might be time for a new project. Car draws people at cruise nights like moths to a bug light. Car is coranado cream w goldish cloth interior. Lots of pictures on my Facebook page " f#ckn#t automotive restoration" . replace # with U's. Lots of work done to this car. Front end, steering box, exhaust, shocks, radials, body work, paint, carpet, stereo, etc, etc. Asking $14,000 or BRO. If you need specific pics , or have any questions, let me know. Thanks. Buy the way, I bought the car or this site, would love to sell it on this site. Might be interested in trade for a early 70's coupe project.

It features air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seat which were all standard equipment for 1964. I Absolutely Love this vehicle as it came from my grandfather but I am a traveling musician and the car deserves to be driven. I want it in the hands of someone who will enjoy & respect it. I am selling my 1967 Imperial Convertible. This car is a survivor original paint, top and chrome. I got it from a 91 year old lady after her husband died. Car has always been garaged. Chrome looks almost new. No dents and no rust anywhere. Only 571 cars produced in 1967. Car has matching numbers 440 engine. A/C does not work but everything else is original. Exterior of car is gold with gold interior. Car has only 86,800 original miles. When I bought the car I found the billing sheet the couple got in 1967. I think this is one of a kind in this condition. I have another car project that is keeping me busy, so I am asking $24,000 firm. The car was appraised a couple of weeks ago and the appraiser could not believe the condition of my car. I still cannot believe the older couple was able to keep car in such great condition.

Serious enquiries only. Best offer. Must go. Too many Mopars to rebuild. Also have brand new Ontario personalized license plates that read "Le Baron". Never been on the car.

Originally owned for a number of years by a Chicago area Chrysler dealer, I believe I am the fourth owner. This 1960 Imperial is in original condition and would be considered a daily driver or a 20 footer. I purchased it in 2004 and have driven it only occasionally in good weather.

Engine has approx. 65,000 miles and runs well.It is Alaskan White with a brown leather and striped fabric interior. Last owner rebuilt the front end and drive line, also the transmission and I believe the radiator was recored. Steering box was rebuilt and power steering pump was added during my owership.

Power windows all work but some attention and repair is needed. The electrics work but are showing their age. Dash lights work but the headlight switch that adjusts and controls then is loose. Radio antenna switch needs a replacement. The seats and headliner are decent but will need replacement/refurb. in time. Power seat motor works. The leather is in very good condition.

The gas tank was replaced with a similar, like new one but it still needs a sending unit and float.New tires were put on two years ago. Paint is original but needs a paint job and rear passenger side rocker panel, which was filled by a previous owner needs repair.

It is a pleasure to drive it but I need to sell to someone who can give it the attention it deserves.

I may have omitted something, so inquiries are welcome. Priced at $10,200.

I have no room to put it in my garage and it's taking up room in the shop where it's currently stored. Was bought new in Victoria BC and was parked in a garage for about 30 years. Highly unlikely I will ever get to these cars, so in all honesty, I need to sell them. Two 58 models, a coupe and a hardtop. Good bodies, hardtop needs floors, and I have he replacements. Coupe is excellent restoration candidate. The 81 and 82 Imperials have great leather, need paint and headliners. New tires on both. Call or come see and let's talk. 270 886 7933 Now, if any scammer tries the 'hello dear' or 'what is your last price', you will not get a response, so don't waste my time.

1955 Chrysler Imperial. This car is black, 4 door and owned by the son of the original owner. It was purchased new by my great grandfather. It is all original other than the addition of an 8-track tape player under the dash and one repaint about 25 years ago. It is always garaged since new, and has not been in any accidents that I know of. It still sports the 6 volt electrical system. It has 203k miles or so and has not been driven much lately. The car belongs to my Great uncle. He would never want to sell the car, but he needs to because he no longer is able to drive. His asking price is $42,000.

For Sale. 1961 Imperial crown 4 door hardtop. This car came from central MO. Was a chrysler dealers personal car. After his death the car set outside for over twenty years. Very good restorable, complete car that needs total restoration. Its a bronze color, Dont know the correct name. But a very pretty color. Has the stailess steel inserts in the roof. Has A/C, cruise, Electric vents. Car sets up nice and is straight. Only rust i have found is right where the drivers feet are and trunk floor is weak. I have the sheet metal for a fix if desired. I wont part this car its way to good for that. It needs a good home where someone will restore it and enjoy its beauty. Have loads of pictures. Just ask if serious and can send. Asking 2500$ Bob at Imperial Heaven. 402-750-5859
