No such thing as '59 Imperial Lebaron Crown. Sorry, my mistake. This all orignal beauty is of museum quality condition with 59K oringal mile, 4dr s/s hardtop with the black crinkle, all options ordered in 1958 by the original owner (brain surgeon) who paid over $7,500.00 USD. Have all paperwork, books, brochures and original bill of sale. car number 583 indicated by the vin number out of 622 built. Just way too much to list. e-mail: curtisbolt@yahoo.com for photos.

Folks: I have an original very good condition 1959 Imperial LeBaron Crown. She is number 583 built out of 622. VIN number M657100583 indicates this to be true. Mileage is 59K. I inherited this car in 1976 when my father passed away. She has been cooped up in a heated garage all of these years. My family has moved around the U.S. and lived close to relatives. We had offers, but none accepted due to my mom who wanted me to have this car. She was offered $10,000.00 in 1976 from our neighbor which was a lot of money at that time. She was diagnosed with M.S. six months after my dad's passing and became wheelchair bound. We held on to this vehicle for sentimental reasons. My father's closest friend and co-worker would start the car twice a month to keep her running since 1982. But when my family moved to Morrisville, PA, my brother got the keys back, syphoned the gasoline and removed the battery. He has nothing to do with the car because my mom let me have it. Of course, I am the youngest of three brothers. I was too young to do anything with the car. But now, I have decided to let her go. With a little TLC, this car will run as good as she looks.... like on rails. Hopefully, some one will care enough to not only buy her, but do the right thing. Cars like this, in this condition, hardly exist. My father was very persnickety with her and pampered it with a diaper on the weekends. He'drive it only around the block real slow and careful. You see, he was a tool and dye maker at Bethelhem Steel for 28 years. He new that when he saw the car for sale, it was special. The original owner (brain surgeon) paid around $7,500.00 and was ordered in 1958. I have all the paperwork, books, brochures, and the original bill of sale. The car was shown once in a show and tied second place..... for best in show in 1975. I have the sterling silver plate on my desk at home. The reason I would like to sell my "Lady LeBaron" is, of course, for the money. But most important, she should be running and shown. There is a wonderful history reflected in this car when America was absolutely brilliant. Chrysler, GM and Ford ruled the auto industry hands down at one time. So, whomever is serious, please be serious life is too short, I will gladly schedule an appointment on a good weekend (weather permitting) and show the car with pride and honor. If you are a SCAM ARTIST trying to rip me off, I will know!!!!! YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES :) I am a reasonable man. So, please make a reasonable offer. Thank you, Curtis M. Have a 58 Crown owned by my dad since late 70's. Started a prof resto few years ago but ripped off on their billing practices so pulled project half way thru... chassis blasted and powdercoated, assembled without motor (untouched) and tranny (rebuilt). Rust repaired, firewall/jams cut in (dark blue), the rest in primer. Interior was redone just prior to the resto teardown. All parts bagged and labeled. Over 15k was invested already, but needs finish/reassembly. Will sell car without motor (392 hemi) but won't sell motor without body. Would like to get $6,500... Take this opportunity to get a "baby" Imperial! It has the 3.3 litre engine. The motor and transmission operate quite well. The front struts were replaced in 2009.

It is currently licensed but does have some problems. The odometer doesn't work but it may be in the range of 280,000 kilometers. The gas gauge doesn't work and apparently there is a problem in the tank. As well the front driver's seat is partly loose and the automatic trunk closing system is not functional.

The paint job does have stone damage and scratches. Also the front light covers do not close automatically.

Yes, it's not perfect but for $1500 Canadian you can get a classy car. You can make an offer or offer a trade as well.

The car is in Winnipeg in Canada and you can call me at 1-204-899-3605 or 1-204-416-4598. My email address is earl_winer@lycos.com

1962 – 1963 Chrysler Imperials My husband has been collecting 62-63 Imperials since the 60’s, amassing 27 in total at one time. Unfortunately, due to his current health situation, we are selling our entire car collection, not just his Imperials. Unless otherwise stated, all these cars have been stored inside a pole barn since purchase. There was plastic down and carpet on top of that, so they have been protected against moisture. None of the cars that were driven were ever driven in adverse weather conditions since we have owned them. We are tough on our assessments of the cars’ conditions, as we have always had the philosophy that there is nothing in cars that can’t be fixed, but we want to know it upfront – we are using that as a foundation for describing our cars – our pictures and descriptions give the worst. All our cars listed should be considered in need of total restoration: interior, exterior and mechanics, unless otherwise stated. If any of our cars are missing parts, we will do our best to find those parts to include with purchase – we will inventory what is missing before completing negotiations and let you know what we can/can’t provide. Our extra parts will first go to buyers of our cars. Any remaining extra parts will be sold at a later time – probably all to a dealer to make it easier for us – we don’t have the means to ship parts. Also have 77-79 Lincolns (good – excellent condition), 40-50’s rough Packards, 34 Packard (1107 - very good condition), 38 Shark-nosed Graham, a Lincoln Zephyr (no engine/transmission – good for making into a street rod) and a DeSoto sedan. Our cars are priced for fast sale, as we need to move to a new location for the benefit of my husband’s health. Please email ccarterjones@aol.com for pictures and further details. Be sure to list which specific car you are interested in. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY – NO TIREKICKERS PLEASE. Accept wire transfers only – no checks or money orders – no overpayments refunded. 1962 Imperial 4-dr. Crowns We have five white 4 door Crowns. As far as project cars go, these cars should be pretty easy total restorations. While the cars do vary a little in condition, they have relatively minor rust. Two have been driven within the past ten years – stopped driving them due to husband’s health. The remaining cars have been stored for 20+ years. Priced for immediate sale - $1,000.00, $1,250.00, $1,500.00, $1,850.00, and $2,050.00. 1963 Chrysler Imperial 2-dr. hardtop with unusual contour of top and color scheme. This car is copper with a white vinyl top - top does not need to be replaced. The seats are black with copper piping trim - door panels are copper. Very unique, different and if I had paid attention to this car years sooner, I would have personally restored it! It is missing the trunk lid, but we have an extra that we will include. Priced to sell at $1,950.00 - worth more, but looking to move. If we clean it up, the price will go up – it’s dusty, but with some restoration and TLC, this would be a great car! 1962 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron, white with deep burgandy or wine dash, carpet and interior accents and beige/tan upholstery - all original. This is a total restoration project, but you'd be starting with about as good of a car as you could ever hope for! We drove this car until about 5 years ago – only stopped driving it due to my husband’s health. However, we would still highly recommend dropping the oil pan and gas tank before attempting to start it. No known mechanical issues, but it has been sitting. We are considering getting this car running because we know how little it will take – if we do, the price will be $8,000.00. We would personally restore it entirely, if it were not for husband's health issues. Priced to sell quickly at $3,150 - this car is certainly worth more! 1963 Chrysler Imperial convertible, gray with black top and interior. This car was driven into storage about 20+ years ago. It is a TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT. If you are looking for a car that you can jump in and drive, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a good project car, it qualifies. Priced to sell quickly at $3,750.00. 1963 Chrysler Imperial convertible red – interior was burned due to a short in the radio before we purchased it. We did nothing toward the restoration of the car. The exterior is in reasonably good condition, but the complete interior would require replacement. $2,000.00 1963 Chrysler Imperial 2-dr. hardtop (Crown) – red with red interior – could be restored or the interior could be used for the convertible described above. $1,850.00. 1963 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - tuxedo black with black interior. This car could be used as a parts car, but it would be a shame not to restore it. It has been in storage for over 20 years with some exposure to the rear of the car. It may have an issue with the rear axle. It does have an unusual feature - behind the front seats, there are portfolios, complete the clasp closures. We also have an extra trunk lid and hood for this car. The car is being sold as is - $1,500.00. $1,250.00 without the extra hood/trunk.

Imperial Crown 4dr HT. Dark gray-leather seats, black with mottled gold accents. 128,000 miles. 4 good tires, 2 are new, whitewwalls. New Holley carb. Dual air, rear disconnected, fan motor runs.- Previous owner said they had to add gas every summer. I have new dryer and expansion valve for it. Valve tube was cracked.

Drivers power vent window needs gear. All windows need clean and lube, motors work. Head liner has mouse holes, I have new headliner.

Seats are good, 3 inch seam seperation on left side bottom, front. Radio hums but won't sing. Working power antenna. Chrome is very good, no grill or rear trim breaks.Only one small dent, near right side rear marker light. No rust thru, surface rust on bottom side. Gas tank cleaned and sealed with Eastwood kit.

Paint is orignal, has scrapes and nicks but it is only orignal once.

I have driven it to local car shows the last 3 or 4 years. Last fall on the way home I lost the brake booster, brakes still work if you push hard.

I am in Phillipsburg, KS. Halfway between Denver and Kansas City on Hiway US-36. I would send pictures but have never figured out how to do that.

I am looking for $4000, what am I bid? Bill Miller

City: Vienna - State/Country: VA
Reply to: Marco Vita-Finzi at marco@mavericksolutions.com

I currently have my car on EBay for sale. This particular car has an interesting history. According to the Chrysler Historical Collection, C56-2670 was built on October 24, 1955 as a 1956 Model and shipped to Portland, Oregon on November 3, 1955. There were 6,821 Four Door Sedans made that year, this car is the 1,669th one made. Built in the Detroit plant, it was ordered by and shipped to Ralph Hoyt Company, Dealer Number 6022, Portland Oregon. This is a numbers matching car and is in great shape. As mentioned the car was bought new in Portland by the first owner and driven approximately 99,000 miles over 14 years (7,000 miles a year) until about 1970 where the second owner bought the car and drove it to Northern Virginia. At this time the car now had 104,000 miles. When the second owner went to transfer the title to a Virginia title, the VIN was entered incorrectly into the VA DMV data base and since 1970 was insence not a registered vehicle. When arriving in Virginia and after registering the vehicle the previous owner wanted to do some brake work on the car and placed it on jacks in his garage. Not able to find a correctly sized washer that he needed to complete the job, and since he had a second car that worked perfectly well, he left the Imperial sitting for close to 39 years in his garage, still with 104,000 miles on the odometer. After talking to the owner and working out a deal to purchase the car, we lowered the car on to the tires which were still hard with air.The second owner bought new tires from Sears in 1970 which are on the car now. Several weeks of work then took place on the car; 1. Mystery oil was placed in the cylinders and was left to sit for two weeks - engine was slowly manipulated so the oil could do its job. 2. New brake lines were installed and all new drum brakes were installed. 3. New master brake cylinder was installed. 4. Gas tank was pumped clean of the 40 year old gas and new fuel pump installed. 5. New spark plugs, rotor, cap and wires were installed. 6. New water pump was installed 7. Radiator was flushed and cleaned and new water was placed in the radiator. 8. New battery was installed. 9. New exhaust pipes were installed from the headers back. 10. The car was then started and it ran/runs perfectly - it has a 354 Hemi engine. 11. The car was then detailed and now looks as you can see in the pictures. This car came with the following options: 1. Stardust blue paint finish 2. Trim is Medium Blue Imperial Eagle 3. Powerflight Transmission 4. Solex glass 5. Custom Heater (currently disconnected) 6. Power windows and power seats - all electricals (windows, seats, radio, antenna etc. work as they are supposed to). 7. Electro Touch Tuner Radio, which works I have also been able to obtain from Chrysler Historical Department, the original build Record for the car. This car has not seen rain or snow for over 40 years. The paint is in good condition. The car must have been painted from the center line trim down prior to 1970 as it is possible to see some delamination in the paint and the front fender on the driver side has been replaced at some point, also prior to 1970 as it is possible to see, in one or two small places, where the paint has flaked off. There are many discussions in Classic Car circles as to leaving the car original VS renovating the vehicle - either way - this car is in very good condition as it is right now and can be driven or shown with confidence. The chrome is not damaged or pitted, all trim is in place with one small exception - the rear window trim connector, just above the truck is missing, this is a 1" x 1" piece. The cigaret lighter on the passenger side rear door handle is missing but can be sourced on Ebay from time to time for about $5.00 US. Carpet is orginal and is brittle. The trunk carpet is clean and all in place and has some minor age stains. There is a spare tire and jack - spare tire is a white wall but not the same as the tires that can be seen on the actual vehicle. When installing the new exhausts this year, the odometer connection was disconnected - simple to reconnect. The front seat fabric has some stress tears from age - the exact original fabric is readily available here in the US - samples and name of fabric company is included with the car. A 1956 Imperial Service Manual is also included with the car along with some spares that care with the car. The car can be heard running here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugibkRbv5B0 A video journey of the car discovery to present condition can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0Qy0HZcLsw I have placed higher rez pictures of the car at it's first Car Show in Virginia on Flickr which can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41111807@N02/show/with/3994164478/ The car is located in Northern Virginia, near Washington DC and is available for inspection if you wish to view the car. I can help arrange transportation but shipping costs are not included in the sale fee. The sale is FOB Virginia. I have owned the car for two years and it has travelled less than 200 miles. It passed the Virginia State inspection with ease - this means all lights, brakes, seat belts, windows, mirrors, suspension etc. meet Virginia State Codes. The car comes with original 1956 Virginia license places, four brand new (still in the box) shocks and parts removed from the car while undergoing renovation except for the exhaust and brake lines which were removed.

Rare garage kept 1961 Imperial LeBaron 4 door Hardtop with odometer reading 34,041 miles (most likely 134,041).

If you are looking to restore a car, this would be a FANTASTIC project! Allot of work has already been done. New water pump, new timing chain and gears, break lines replaced and/or restored, new electronic ignition, new ballast resistor, new plugs & wires, newly rebuilt carburetor, fuel tank cleaned, oil pan cleaned, fuel lines all cleared, and much more. The original 413 “Golden Lion” V8 engine needs some TLC. It turned over for me 3 years ago, but I haven’t worked on it since. Radiator needs to be recored. No idea as to the push-button transmission’s condition since I have not completed the restoration, but I’m told that there were no known problems when it was parked 20+ years ago. There is very little surface rust and/or denting on this car. All the glass is good. Comes with all the original trim and the original hubcaps. Trim and hubcaps currently off of the car, but will be included. Two original ’61 LeBaron “spinner” hubcaps and 4 standard ‘61 Imperial hubcaps. Currently satin black with original teal interior. Headliner and dash are in good condition. Will need new carpet, upholstery, and door panels. Has original working radio ready to be reinstalled. Era correct whitewall tires. Will include service manuals and all other 1961 Imperial information that I find in my collection. Trunk lock is jammed, but some of the trim, parts, and other various extra parts, etc are included in the trunk. Has a clear NJ title. Asking $2500. Absolutely no trades. If I didn’t need the cash, I wouldn’t be selling this beauty. Please note: Car will need to be flat-bedded. Does not drive. Car does not leave my property until I have cash in hand. No checks, wire transfers, over-seas exchanges, etc. Cash only. PayPal considered. Located in Southern NJ – not far from Philadelphia. Please no phone calls after 8pm, EST.

Asking $2500.

I’m looking to reduce my fuselage Imperial collection by 80% before next summer. I had big plans to restore these, but you know how it goes with car projects. I’m well aware that It’s uncommon for people to restore these cars, so I’m not expecting a flood of emails, but I figured it’s worth a try to find someone that might be interested in fixing them up. I know that the outlook for fixer-upper Imperials isn't that good, and I'd much prefer to see them restored, or at least the best two restored and the others used as parts donors. They are all 4 door hardtops: two 1971’s, a ’72, and a ’73. I would prefer to sell them in pairs: the two ‘71’s together, and the ’72 with the ’73, though I’m open to separating them. Presently they are trapped inside my garage until spring arrives, so I figured I would advertise them through the winter. I don’t have much in pictures for some of them because they aren’t very accessible right now, but I will do my best to describe them. I do have a videotape that I made of them 10 years ago when I packed them away in the garage, and may be able to copy it to dvd to mail to prospective buyers.

Blue 1971: This car is real clean rust-wise, just a small spot on one quarter. The bad news is that it was in a fairly serious accident many years ago. The car was repaired, but not that well. The sub frame is pushed back about a half inch on the right side, and would have to go on a frame rack to get it back where it belongs. Both front fenders have plastic in them and should be replaced. The engine and trans were removed and kept by the previous owner. The best part about the car is it’s beautiful, blue leather interior, one of the nicest that I’ve ever seen in a ‘70’s Imperial. The car has only 68K miles. I have a NJ title, signed by the widow of the last titled owner, but I don’t have a death certificate to go with it.

White 1971: This car was originally light blue, but now has a cheap white paint job, with the usual overspray on the mouldings and gaskets. It’s from the sandy area of New Jersey, so the bottoms of the fenders, one quarter, and some door corners have rust trough. There’s also a small hole behind the rear window. I never checked the numbers, but it appears to have it’s original 440, which runs nice. It has no brakes, so I’ve never driven it on the road to test out the trans. It has a blue leather interior, in fair condition. It has the rare headlamp washer option. The car has 117K miles. I have a PA title in my name. The Buick wheels are not included, but if that makes the deal, we can talk about it.

Charcoal 1972: This is a pretty sharp looking car in it’s current condition, in a fairly uncommon metallic dark gray. It wouldn’t take a huge amount of work to get this one back on the road as a driver- quality ride. It has some rust in the front fenders and quarters. It’s been repainted, and I can see evidence of some body work on the right side. The paint still looks good. The vinyl top is in nice shape, with a few rust bubbles underneath that haven’t gotten any worse in 10 years. The engine and trans were removed by the previous owner. It has a pretty nice black cloth interior, which should clean up nice. The driver’s seat has a rip in the upper cushion. I have the correct steering column and wheel for the car, along with plenty of spare hubcaps. The car has 97K miles, and I have a PA title in my name.

Tan 1973: I drove this car out of a junkyard many years ago. The pictures were taken back then, and the vinyl top has since dried out and split apart. It has a lot of rust in the quarters, with the right side being the worst. The fender bottoms and a door corner are rusted too. I haven’t started this one in 10 years, but the engine sounded fine back then, just the carb needed attention. I think the trans needs a rebuild. It has a real nice black cloth interior, with some of the best seats that Chrysler used in the 70’s. It just needs a good cleaning. The car has around 105K miles. It has a PA salvage certificate because it was junked by the previous owner.

For certain, these are all project cars that will require a good amount of work to get back on the road. The strong point on these cars is the interiors. So many Imperials from the era have the miserable olive-ish green upholstery that was popular in the early seventies. I also see a lot in light gold or parchment, in which the plastic parts all deteriorate and turn different shades of brown as they age. A black interior gives you the option to paint the car any color your heart desires. All 4 cars have been stored inside since September 1999, and the ’72 since 1996.

Package 1: Both 1971 Imperials, a nice used hood and left fender. 4 doors, a good used left quarter panel, extra bumpers, a rechromed rear bumper(wavy), a nice, complete black interior, and more. NOS parts: right fender, tail lamp, side marker, and front park lamp lenses. Price: $3000.00

Package 2: 1972 and 1973 Imperials. A few NOS items: tail lamp lens, back-up lamp assy, and some trim parts. Used tail lights and front park lamps. Price: $2500.00 Yes, I realize that I’m priced on the high side, but that’s where it has to be to keep the crash-em guys out of the picture. Any interest or questions, please contact me. I like to talk about big old Chryslers. Shoot me an e-mail or call me @ 215-622-6416. 10am to 10pm eastern time. I do mechanical and body repairs, so if you don’t do your own work and would like one of them fixed up, let me know. I'm located in Dublin, PA, between Philadelphia and Allentown. Jeff Here’s the best pictures I have of the cars:

I met someone today selling a 1972 Imperial Coupe. As most who are reading this already know, coupes are rare enough to begin with. What makes this car even more exclusive is that, with the exception of the Automatic Headlight Dimmer, this car appears to be equipped with every other option available! This list includes the rare Anti Skid Brakes system, Rear Air Conditioning, Sunroof and even the Floor Mounted Cassette Player (with mic!) The car is triple black – with the optional high back leather buckets!

Unfortunately the car is in pretty rough shape, as relates the body. Rust issues with the front fender tops, wheel lips, hood and lower rear quarters. Interior needs attention, but appears to be complete, with no tears or opening seams.

In speaking with the owner he believes he is the third owner and has owned the car since 1979. Car is located in Northern NJ. He claims the car starts, however I didn’t attempt to start it. It is presently sitting outdoors, under a tarp.

I have my own 72 coupe, and know a thing or two about fuselage Imperials. This had to be the rarest Imperial I have ever seen. I have no skin in this game, just an Imperial passion. The owner is not computer savvy, so I thought I would help him spread the word. If there is any interest, I can put you in touch with the owner directly. Email me for details. I can then give you a phone number to reach me, if you chose to communicate this way. I have pictures I can share. $$Owner told me he’d entertain best offers. Help save this car before the “smash ‘em up boys” get their hands on it! Thanks, Rob

Hello, I have a 1962 Imperial Lebaron 4 door. This car was hand made by Dietrich motor works. The car is in great running condition and can be driven down the freeway. It is only taken out to car shows ussually on sunday and spends the rest of its time compleatly covered from the elements (rain, sand, sun, etc). The leather has been fully redone, the car has been lowered by the previous owner, and the door panels are currently being finished to a matching black and red suede but i do have the originals and the original material is availible. The car is really and eye catcher and i hate to sell it but i am opening up my business and this is one of my sacrifices. This vehicle is solid with a small hole in the inner part of the trunk. Besides that the car just needs the power window motors (i can get them). Car is compleate and in good running condition. Original black paint, Red leather / red floor carpet int. 6 seater bench seats w/arm rests. Professional leather stiching. Always maintained. 84,000 original highway miles. Previous owner was an avid collector and drove this car on long trips. He sold it because he cannot enjoy driving anymore. There were only 1449 Imperial Lebarons made in 1962. Now just a fraction remain. Parts are availible. Asking $10,000 OBO PRICE VERY NEGOTIABLE has been dropped already. let me know. 786-362-4423 786-362-4423 PRICE NEGOTIABLE leave me a messege if i dont answer. Thanks :) I can also arrange shipping. Vehicle has a clean tittle.

Always a CA car until two years ago. No body or frame rust. Needs only paint and interior re-rag. What is non-stock? This car has a TorqueFlite, converted to 12 volts, Hot Hemi Heads intake manifold, Holley electronic carb, Mallory electronic distributor and coil, rebuilt brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and drums, modern drive shaft, Optima battery, etc. Only reason I am selling this car I love is that there is no money available right now to finish her. Call 303.517.0655. We are in San Antonio, Texas.

The leather has been fully redone and the door panels are currently being finished to a matching black and red suede. Asking $12,000 OBO let me know. Thanks :) I can also arrange shipping. Vehicle has a clean tittle. pictures upon request.

1963 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - tuxedo black with black interior. This car could be used as a parts car, but it would be ashame not to restore it. Needing to move due to husband's health, so we are selling our entire automotive collection - Imperials, Lincolns, DeSotos, Shark-nosed Graham and Packards. No phone calls after 9pm, EST, please. For pictures and further information, please email: ccarterjones@aol.com.

1963 Chrysler Imperial convertible, gray exterior with black interior and top. This car was driven into storage about 20 years ago, and should be considered a TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT, although you are starting with a car that is mostly complete - only a couple of pieces missing and we "may" have extras that we could include - will have to double-check. There is some rust on the car, but certainly not in the "lacy" category. This car is priced to sell quickly at $3,950.00. No phone calls after 9pm, EST, please. For further information and pictures, please email: ccarterjones@aol.com.

1962 Chrysler Imperial 4-dr. Crown hardtop - white exterior. This car would require total restoration - it could be used as a parts car, but it would be ashame - too good for that! It has been in storage for 30+ years. We are planning to move due to my husband's current health condition, and are willing to let this one go for $1250 FIRM. No phone calls after 9pm, EST. For further information and pictures, please email ccarterjones@aol.com. As we have several white 4-dr. Crowns to sell, please specify selling price, so we will get you pictures and information for the right car.

1962 Chrysler Imperial 4-dr. Crown hardtop - White with black interior. This car has been in storage for about ten years, but we have owned it over 30 years. My husband collected 1962 and 1963 Imperials - amassing a total of 27 at one time. This car is a TOTAL RESTORATION project. If you are looking to restore a car, this would be a great one to start with! There is minimal surface rust and denting on this car. $1650 FIRM. No phone calls after 9pm, EST. 1962 Chrysler Imperial 4-dr. Crown hardtop - White with black interior. This car is one of those rare barn finds that you always hope to run across! The car has been stored for about seven years - we have owned it for 30+ years. My husband stopped driving the collector cars when his health began to decline. Although we are selling this as a TOTAL RESTORATION car, I would certainly try dropping the gas tank and oil pan and give it a crank before tearing into the mechanics - no guarantees however. There is minimal surface rust on this car and one or two minor dents. $1850 FIRM. No phone calls after 9pm, EST. For further information and pictures, please email: ccarterjones@aol.com.

1963 Chrysler Imperial 2-dr. HT with unusual contour of top and color scheme. The exterior of this car is copper with a white vinyl top - the vinyl is in excellent condition and does not need to be replaced. The interior is copper and black. The seats are black with copper piping trim - the door panels are copper. This car is very unique and different. Had I really paid attention to it, we would have restored it years ago. It is missing a trunk lid, but we have an extra we will include with the car. This car will require TOTAL RESTORATION, but you'll have a beauty when you are finished! We are selling our entire collection due to my husband's health - we are needing to move out-of-state and will not have storage for the cars. $1,950 FIRM. No phone calls after 9pm EST, please. 1962 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron, white exterior with tan/ivory upholstery and wine interior accents - carpet, dash,... This car is all original. While we are advertising it as a total restoration, you couldn't be starting your project with a better car! My husband stopped driving this car about five years ago due to his health (no known mechanical issues), so we would highly recommend dropping the oil pan and gas tank before trying to start it. The only known rust on this car is a small area of surface rust on the left rear fender. This is a very solid car. We would personally restore this car, if it was not for my husband's health - we are needing to move and will not have adequate storage for our cars. No phone calls after 9pm, EST, please. It's a steal at $3,500.00. For further information and pictures, please email: ccarterjones@aol.com.

I'm selling it. It's going. She needs a new paint job -- the 10 year-old paint has utterly deteriorated, and bits here and there (I'll respond in detail to whoever asks), but mechanically EVERYTHING has been done. And I do mean "everything" -- engine, transmission, brakes, driveshaft, front end, rear axle, steering box, carburetor, etc.

Unfortunately I'm not driving her at all, and that's not OK. She needs driving. And being seen. So, off to the stewardship of someone else, someone who knows and loves these cars (and what's not to love?). I'm asking $4,000.

Sadly, I find myself needing to sell my 73 Imperial as I soon will not be able to use the garage where it is stored. The color is Blue Sky with a white vinyl top, dark blue leather interior with just over 100,000 miles on the 440 V-8. I will separate the description into the good and the bad: The Good: The only rust in the car under the top at the bottom of the rear window. Quarters and fenders are fine. The paint is decent. New engine timing chain and gears, belts, hoses, fan clutch, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, fuel pump, power steering hoses, heater core, ATC-II servo made from aluminum rather than plastic. All fluids changed including power steering, brakes and transmission. 5 new Goodyear tires, front shocks and exhaust system. All power window motors rebuilt with new plastic gears as well as a reworked driver side master switch. New carpet installed by the previous owner, (I am the third owner). New fuel gauge sending unit. The Bad: Could use new leather seats and a headliner. They have hardened and are cracking. Needs new top and rust around rear window repaired. Engine rear main seal and oil pan gasket leaking. Will leave 2 quarter sized oil stains on the ground while parked overnight. The steering is loose. It will need the rubber disk in the steering column replaced. Needs a new headlight door motor. The horn, temperature gauge, alternator gauge and cruise control are not working. I charged the A/C with 134a but the schrader valve on the compressor needs to be replaced as it leaked out overnight. Overall, I would rate the car a solid #3 and it would be relatively easy to make this car a #2. I truly will miss this car and hope one day I will be able afford a house with a garage to properly store my another Imperial in. The car is currently stored near Charlottesville, Virgina and I can e-mail pictures to anyone interested. I will only sell to a fellow Mopar lover, Imperial club member, or someone with a passion for classic cars that has the means to preserve it properly. Asking $4000 but will consider offers. Thanks, for reading. Tim Durrer
