Very solid Imperial that was saved from demise I purchased the car just was it is with NO motor or Trans. The body is very decent for this old of a car. The car is Triple Black. I believe it is a Lebaron. Disc brakes on front. The car has been stored inside many years.
I would rather see someone from this site purchase the car and put it to good use.

You are lookin at a 1961 Crown Imperial , one of 12,000 built. It has a 413 big block motor and a Push button tranny. I have owned this car for roughly 9 years and I drove it for a daily driver about 3 of those years. it has been sitting in a yard for 2 and a half years with a starter out .Now sits in front of my house in Independence Mo. , USA and has had the starter rebuilt, I put it back end in and primed the carb and it started up.
I had to add brake fluid and tranny fluid but then I got it driving/ stopping again , CLEAN TITLE
this car will need some TLC but if you think its your kind of ride and you want a project give me a call and lets do some dealing. $2500.00 OBO.

Due to moving to Hawaii I must sell my 55. It is a survior not redone. Low mileage on the hemi & total mileage less than 60K.
some rust issues in rear of rear Quarters. Just replaced heater core and heater control Valve.Electric windows all work but up button on two windows on the front master are inop. Brakes done prior to my buying a year ago so they seem in good shape. The only thing I would do to it is rebuild the Carb. The accel pump is a little low volume.
Interior seats still have the clear plastic on from when new.
The story of the history of this car is on the Imperial club web site by Paul Wentink under 55 Imperial. Pictures by request.

To know everything I know about this great red on white classic, please click on the link provided. This car is over 40 years old, and unmolested, sans a repaint and replacement carpet. It will require some basic fixes (don't all fourty year olds) to make it your perfect cruiser. But best of all, you can drive it NOW, while you do. eMail me any questions not answered at the link. Priced to sell now, before he gets back from ordering presents, and I get put on his naughty list.

This is a 1956 Chrysler Imperial 4 door post, 1 of 6250 made with the original 354 Hemi and pushbutton trans. The engine turns over fine, Have not started yet, Waiting on points and condesor.
This car was never abused, has sat for last 20 years but was driven every day until the old man passed away. Oil looks great, Good compression on all cylinders. The car is complete, only rust is on the trunklid seal body side. It does have a few dents but overall is a straight car. I have All of the trim for this car including the original Hubcaps in excellent shape. The power windows, power seat and interior lights work as do the turn signals and headlights. If I find the time to put new points and plug wires on her and get it running the price goes up. Feel free to make an offer as I need it out of my storage. would really prefer to sell it to some one to restore it.

We have here a 1955 Imperial 2dr hardtop that has a good running 331 Hemi. The bad news is a tree fell on the car (a hard hit)a number of years ago.I have owned the car for a number of years and purchsed a another 2dr top for parts. I parted out the parts car and cut the roof section off parts car. The car starts and runs forward and back under its own power and stops with the hand brake. The car was from Washington state then Texas as the story goes. The car has minor rust and has dents and many spare parts.
I love these cars ,but has been resting in my pole building to many years and I would love to see this car back on the road.
Please call me with any questions. Thank you Richard 612-720-5382

1966 Chrysler Imperial Crown 4 door hardtop. The car is in wonderful condition and would make a great daily driver. The color is light yellow or cream over red leather. Under the hood is the legendary 440 ci V8 mated to a three speed automatic transmission. 1966 was the first year for this engine. Options on this car include a Search-Tune AM radio with power antenna, air conditioning (though it is not currently hooked for better fuel economy), 6 way power seats, power windows, full gauges, and full leather interior. Over the last 43 years, this beautiful car has been driven only 40,000 miles. That's less than 1,000 miles a year! The car has had four owners including myself. The first owner sold it to buy a new Imperial in 1968. The second owner purchased it in '68 and then stopped driving in 1970. He died in 1999 and his estate had the car gone over mechanically and put back on the road by Globe Auto in western PA. A fellow car collector enjoyed the car until January 2008 when he sold it to me. Everything on the car (except the air conditioning that is not hooked up) works as it should. This car has made a great daily driver for me for the last year and a half. I always said I would keep this car forever, but unfortunately I have a debt to pay off. My loss is your gain. I have, in addition to the parts on the car, a performance carb and air cleaner from Holly.
Feel free to call me, Seth, with any questions or to schedule an appointment to come see the car! Call my cell phone anytime day or night.

It drives well, a/c blew cold at first but is now not working. I am a hot rodder who began a custom project with it, but realized how rare this particular car is and want a restorer to enjoy it. A young man in the Park City, UT, area is selling a 1960 Imperial LeBaron. I looked at the car because I really like that body style, but I already have a project going with a 66 LeBaron. This car is mostly complete in that virtually all pieces are there but it is a project car. It would have to be trailered to your location. Both sides of the stainless steel Southampton roof are in good condition, as is the Flitesweep deck lid. The bottoms of the quarter panels are rusted through. All glass appeared to be intact, although the pivot post on the left front door vent window is broken. The car does not have factory air. Engine and trans are in place. Contact person is Greg at 435-671-8567. He is willing to consider parting the car as well. Someone has made him a lowball offer with the intent of destroying the car. It is worth more as a project or as a parts car. If this is of interest to any of you give Greg a call. The Imperial is located in Wallburg, Utah. Thanks!

Relisted from Ad 2359. I got my daughter a car and still have the Imperial. Anyone want to trade for a different era? My 69 is the dark jade green with a black leather interior and vinyl top. It is highly optioned with cruise, auto-temp, tilt/tele, am-fm-8 track, rear defrost. The paint is a 20 footer. Pass side floor is weak under carpet but no flintstone mobile. Windshield has a crack (but not shattered) on pass side corner. I put in a new elec ignition and have a bunch of spare parts, service manual, etc. I have a LOT of money in this car but need cash. It has a little over 100K on the odo. I would value this car between $2500 - $3000, does anyone with an 81-83 or 57-59 of similar value want to trade? I can send pics and will call you if you reply with a number. It has good brakes, very good Firestone 721’s on it and you can drive it home to anywhere. Thanks.

1966 Chrysler Imperial Convertible VIN#YM27J63163105
In need of total restoration. Burgundy with white interior. No frame rust, but like most "barn finds" some patches of surface rust here and there.
We bought this "barn find" in hopes of bringing it back to life, but simply cannot afford to now. Have the original 440 engine, transmission and all body parts (including extra trunk lid and boxes of other extra parts). Will not part out this car - you must buy it all.
Will deliver within 100 miles of Michigan City, Indiana, where the car is located. Beyond that buyer must provide transport from Michigan City, IN.
Engine/transmission is outside the vehicle as are many of the parts. Ohio valid title, VIN plate and original owners manual (slightly chewed on) included.
Make no mistake, this is a "barn find" car in rough current shape. However, the car's rarity make it worth spending the time bringing it back to life!

My dad is wanting to sell his 65 Imperial Crown Coupe and is having me put in one here. It was originally a california car. He bought it about 2 years ago and if he put a thousand miles on it i would be surprised. Has 30000 on the odometer and judging by condition they must be original miles. It is light blue in color with a black vinyl roof. Interior is black in color and is in really good condition, only blemish is where you elbow rests on the pad on the door. Has a 413/727 drivetrain that runs and drives nicely. This car is extremely clean with no rust. I have numerous pictures of this car and can send them to via email. Should anyone be interested please let me know. He is asking 7000.00 obo. thank you

Just passed Maine Inspection. 4dr, AC works (Freon R12), just rebuilt orig starter, new fuel lines, fuel pump, new TQ-9110S Carb, new heater hoses, tires & brakes 75%,small rust spot on one door and trunk 1/4 panel, exhaust 90%. I used this car for towing but purchased a Dodge van.It runs well but has vapor lock issues with the new ethanol gasoline and I can't trust it for towing or pulling under load. It's gray and would be a great driver or parts car for a member. It is currently registered and I'm going to convert the leanburn to points if it doesn't sell. The floors, trunk, frame etc. are all rock solid. I bought this car from the original owner in '01. I have driven it less than 500 miles since then. This car is currently listed on E-bay. Please view item 350176124617 Hello and thank you for stopping by and checking out one of the 3 Imperials being offered by the estate of the late Imperial collector, John Sylvan. This 64 Crown Imperial was restored by John around 3 years ago. It started out as a nice, solid car before John worked his magic. The restoration only required fresh paint, some re-chroming & the front seat re-upholstered. The interior is nice, and everything works. I personally tested all the power window switches, antenna, radio, etc. EVERY POWER OPTION WORKS. The dash, steering wheel and interior trim are all in beautiful, un-restored condition. John & his wife shown this car at Hershey every year and would often drive it to Atlantic City where it was often feathered in parades. This car runs & drives 110 %. Current Pa inspection. Registered Pa. Classic. The under carriage is solid as a rock. John spent a lot of money re-chroming parts for this car. The paint is a professional job. The trunk (which is solid) is loaded with parade & car show supplies.
The option plate reads:
0414 0005 924
5234 751 1 1 12 2
So Number bdy trim pnt
0414 0005 924 N7B CC
To summarize, this car needs NOTHING. I’d rate the overall appearance of this car, a high 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The only thing I could find that might need replaced for shows is the carpet. It’s a little faded. This will be a super cheap & unique hit at your next local car show.

Hello and thank you for stopping by and checking out one of the 3 Imperials being offered by the estate of the late Imperial collector, John Sylvan. This 64 Imperial Lebaron was under restoration at the time of John’s passing. Some of the body moldings, grill, front & the rear bumper had been removed. The car was sanded down exposing a few small rust holes at the bottom of each quarter panel. John had already cut the rust out and was preparing to weld in the minor patches. The rest of the car is completely solid & intact, the way it was assembled in Detroit 45 years ago. The interior is nice, original little or no ware. The old leather smells great. The dash, steering wheel and interior trim are all in beautiful, un-restored condition. Options include A/C, Auto Pilot, tilt column and SUPER RARE AM/FM radio. John drove this car in the garage 3 years. It was his baby. We got the 340 HP 413 to run by pouring gas down the carb but did not trust to run the gas in the tank. Car has brakes and should be easy to get operational again. The under carriage is solid as a rock! John had cleaned & undercoated it. Here’s the great part. John spent a lot of money re-chroming parts for this car. When his widow (a very nice lady, by the way) saw all the re-chromed parts we found for the car, she finally understood what happened to their vacation money. All pieces not shown on the car are going with the car. The original chrome on the car is an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The parts that were re-chromed were done to a very high, show quality standard. The re-chromed parts include:
1. Upper rear bumper
2. Lower rear bumper
3. Left & right rear bumper body edge trim
4. Exterior fender top mounted mirror
5. Rear bumper center trim & bezels
6. Windshield washer squirters
7. Upper bumper center trim ring & Eagle
8. Cowl vents
9. Tail light bezels
10. Door top trim
11. One outer grill bezel
The trunk (which is solid) is loaded with extra parts & goodies.
The option plate reads:
42 0221 00
523467 511 11 12 2
So Number bdy trim pnt
0221 0005 934 H3V SS
To summarize, what this car needs to hit the shows is some minor body work, fresh paint, minor re-assembly & some fresh gas. This will be a super cheap & unique hit at your next local car show.

To all Imp and Chrysler collectors. Just stumbled upon the last 1983 Imperial, a 1973 Imperial, and a 79 and 80 Fifth Avenue that will be at auction on April 3, 2009 in Charlotte. Part of the Steve Green collection offered by tommackclassics.com
I really hope that a true collector will get these great cars and share there stories with the rest of us car nuts. Just FYI, I am not in anyway a part of the website or selling these cars. Just wanted to get the word out to everyone who might be interested.
And, if anyone wants to buy the 1980 Versailles and 1973 Imperial listed and give them to me, I am all for it!!! Thanks everybody and good luck.
